Why start therapy

You may be asking yourself why you’d want to come and talk to someone you don’t know about things that sit heavy with you. Perhaps you know exactly what you’d like to explore in the safe boundaries of a therapeutic relationship. The Empathy Room welcomes you wherever you are on your journey to feeling lighter.

The Empathy Room is an empathetic, confidential and safe space for you to express yourself, be authentic and share your emotions within the comfort of a home environment.

I work with anyone and everyone: people with diagnosed mental health illnesses, substance addiction and addiction within families, general anxiety and depression. New parents, including breastfeeding parents ( infants are welcome), people navigating grief, infertility, neurodiversity, a health diagnosis, bereavement, grief, identity and gender.

Nothing is ever 'too much' in sessions together, and confidentiality is key to how I'll work with you. Whether you live with a diagnosed mental health illness, depression, anxiety, or want to explore grief from losing a loved one, the Empathy Room is a safe space to bring whatever feels right to you.

What you can expect working with me

I offer 50-minute sessions which will be at the same time each week, in The Empathy Room, whether that's online or in person. I can be flexible with sessions, and we can arrange different times if and when needed. If you need a home visit, this is something I can offer too, so we can discuss your preferred type of sessions in our first one.

I'll never take notes as you talk and keep minimal records to make sure I stay as confidential as possible for you.

Sessions are £55 for 50 minutes

I offer a Blue Lights price of £50 for anyone working within our NHS and emergency services (with ID)
